Andritz hosts customer day for absorbent hygiene products in Italy

Austria-based Andritz recently organised a customer day dedicated to the absorbent hygiene products value chain. The event took place at the Andritz Diatec premises in Pescara, Italy, with several key players from the nonwovens industry that came from all over Europe and beyond. Andritz is a leader in pulp, paper, metals, hydro, and separation.

At the event, attendees benefited from live demonstrations of converting lines, unique market and nonwoven production insights, a panel discussion on sustainability, and networking opportunities. The event explored the recent market situation and trends in machinery, Andritz said in a press release.

The event shared technology insights for nonwoven roll-good production like spunjet soft, air-through bonding, and spunlace. There was a company tour with live demonstration of converting lines and a panel discussion on sustainability accompanied by important industry players around the value chain.
