Arville will showcase its integrated manufacturing capabilities, covering design, weaving, coating and fabrication of technical textiles, specifically engineered for a wide range of end applications in defence, aerospace, pharmaceutical, automotive and industrial sectors at Techtextil 2019, an event for innovators, to be held during May 14-17 in Frankfurt.

“Representatives from our sales and technical teams will fly to Germany for the four-day event to meet and talk to customers and partners, old and new, from across the globe,” the company said.

Exhibitors at Techtextil will represent the entire spectrum of technical fabrics, functional apparel textiles and related technologies. Texprocess, the leading trade fair for the garment manufacturing and textile processing industry, will take place concurrently.

Arville’s head of marketing, Andy Smith, said: “We are delighted to be heading to Techtextil again. It’s a crucial fixture in our calendar, providing a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our ability to innovate, and discuss projects face-to-face.”

“Some 65 years on from our beginnings when we started weaving uniforms for the public transport sector, Arville is now positioned as a ‘best-in-class’ specialist in the manufacture of technical textiles,” Smith said. “These events create real opportunities for us to engage with our customers at an early stage in their projects so they are better informed of just what can be achieved in terms of textiles developed especially with their application in mind.”

Arville has recently invested £1.2m in new weaving and warping machines. This investment in equipment comes after successive year-on-year double-digit growth – and will meet a strategic need to boost manufacturing capabilities to keep pace with customer demand. (SV)
