Bitrez, manufacturer of specialist polymers and chemicals, has come out with a new service to provide customers with technical data on specialist resins used in the formulation of advanced coatings, adhesives and composites via the free, members only, section of its website, My Bitrez. The service offers all the information on the latest developments.

Providing a hub of knowledge, My Bitrez offers the user everything they need to know about the latest developments such as REACH compliant alternatives - from green bio-epoxy curing agents which mitigate the use of Mannich-based formulas used in marine and construction to BPA free phenolic resins used to coat food packaging. My Bitrez offers some of the most in depth product presentations and data sheets available free online, providing descriptions, applications, key properties and specifications.

Dominic Hopwood, Bitrez’s Resin sales manager, says: “After decades of intensive R and D, working with academia, research institutes and some of the largest companies in the world, we have been able to create this library of information of specialist resins. This has allowed us to share our research in an easy to use format, with concise data sheets and technical information all in one place.”

Only taking thirty seconds to set up an account, by simply creating a login on the Bitrez website, users can also discover general information about Bitrez and the services they offer such as their contract manufacturing capabilities and composite technology overview, product information and technical information surrounding their award-winning products. This allows the user to explore material grades, brochures and guides.

Established in 1982, Bitrez offers a range of services from R and D to toll conversion as well as technical support. Its team of highly qualified and experienced chemists can produce materials from laboratory scale through a transient pilot stage to enable scale up and allow for small scale qualification work before moving to commercial manufacture.
