DH Sutherland, TCMA sign global distribution deal

DH Sutherland and Toray Composite Materials America (TCMA), composite materials division of Toray Industries, have signed a global distribution deal to support Boeing aftermarket aircraft, including materials qualified to Boeing’s BMS8-276. The aim is to rapidly supply less than MOQ quantities of TCMA materials to commercial airlines and MRO customers.

Converting of the prepreg will be supported through DH Sutherland’s ISO7 certified cleanroom which TCMA’s quality team has audited, ensuring converted less than MOQ product meets the same quality standards as material directly from TCMA.

Steve Groshong, DH Sutherland vice president, Technical Sales, said: “DH Sutherland is excited to begin this partnership with TCMA. With DH Sutherland’s expertise on aerospace structural applications, the partnership with TCMA will enable us to bring a critical element of carbon fibre construction to our customer partners supporting commercial airlines globally.”
