Dr. Petry to show textile-chemical products at Techtextil

Specialty chemicals company, Dr. Petry will display its latest textile-chemical developments, textile auxiliaries, dyestuffs, and pigments for technical applications and sustainable textiles at Techtextil expo in hall 3.0, stand B22. The leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens will be held from May 14-17, 2019, in Germany.

At the exhibition, one can get more information about the company’s modern products for the functionalisation of textiles, such as antistatic or fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finishes. Visitors can get to see the wide range of high-performance sizing agents. Dr. Petry will also display its special coatings for technical applications, for the Protech area (personal and object protection), for weather and wind protection as well as for outdoor applications, the company said in a press release.

The company will display Perixen FDA, an environment-friendly yarn lubricant for the production of sustainable textiles as well as for the application in the food processing sector. Other auxiliaries to be presented are Ekagum R, a modern sizing compound for all kinds of fibres; Periguard WRC, a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent agent for cellulosic fibres and their blends; Peristat RDV, a temperature-stable antistatic agent which hardly evaporates from the fabric during heat setting; and Pericoat Reflex Pearl, special glass beads for the production of reflecting prints and coatings.

Dr. Petry’s experts for technical textiles will have interesting technical discussions with the visitors. The technical specialists who would be present at the booth will include Rolf Stöhr, for pretreatment, Rudi Breier for yarn lubrication, Iris Rösch for coating, Matthias Stürner for dyeing, and Friedrich Wullner for sizing.
