Ahlstrom’s operating result was €46.5 million in Q3 FY22, compared to €18.5 million in Q3 FY21. The company’s net result was €27.1 million in the third quarter of FY22, compared to the loss of €12.1 million in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Ahlstrom said in a press release.
For the first three quarters of fiscal 2022, net sales increased by 29.3 per cent to €2,514.4 million, compared to €1,944.2 million in the first three quarters of fiscal 2021. The company’s comparable EBITDA improved to €357 million for the first three quarters of FY22, representing 14.2 per cent of net sales, compared to €260.6 million in FY22. The operating result for the first three quarters was €134.7 million, compared to €72.2 million in the first three quarters of 2021, while the net result was €55.2 million compared to a loss of €10.3 million for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
For the adjusted last 12 months, the company’s adjusted EBITDA was €611.5 million, while the net indebtedness was €1,953.1 million.
From a divisional perspective, Ahlstrom’s filtration segment reported net sales of €159.7 million in Q3 FY22, while the net sales for the health care segment were €45.1 million. In Q3 FY22, building materials’ net sales were reported as €87.2 million, while technical materials’ net sales were €170 million.
In Q3 FY22, the comparable EBITDA from a divisional perspective was €31.5 million for filtration, €10.2 million for healthcare, €14.5 million for building materials, and €15.6 million for technical materials.
