INDA opens registration for 14th edition of World of Wipes

INDA has opened registration for the 14th edition of World of Wipes (WOW) international conference, which will be held from June 22-25, 2020, in Minneapolis, US. Buyer demographics, sustainability, industrial and flushable wipes, substrates, preservatives, and single use plastics are some of the topics to be presented to wipes brand owners and converters.

The WOW conference is expected to connect over 400 senior wipes professionals from 19 countries to advance their wipes business. The 14th edition of WOW offers four value-packed days combining relevant technical and educational content with business engagement opportunities, according to INDA.

Target will host session on the retailer point of view on reaction time and RPK consulting will talk about developments in sustainable substrates.

On Buyer demographics and characteristics, Fancy will speak on Retailer bans on non-woke wipes, the American Cleaning Institute will discuss generational cleaning habits, and Crown Abby will speak on 100 most influential web wipe brands and their industry impact.

Contec will speak on marketing of industrial wipes, the ITW Texwipe will talk about industrial wipes news, and the Ecolab and the American Hospital Association will host a session on healthcare wipe insights. Lonza will speak about the restrictions, regulations, and new preservative options and Vertellus Personal Care will discuss the trends impacting preservative options.

On the topic of single use plastics and substrates, TÜV Austria Belgium will speak on biodegradability and composability certification, OWS will discuss biodegradability and compostability testing, INDA will discuss regulatory and legislative landscape, DuPont Biomaterials will talk about renewable performance additives, Pure Cycle will speak about new technology enabling PP recycling, RPK Consulting will discuss alternative materials for disposable nonwoven wipes, and Pulcra will talk on finishes to emulate PET performance.

Speaking on trade and market data, Crowe will discuss international trade and tariff wars – strategies to protect our business, INDA will talk about industry statistics and tariff & regulatory issues, and Euromonitor will talk about global market for personal care wipes – product segmentation.
