ITA creates Texspace to produce textile innovations

The Institut für Textiltechnik (ITA) of RWTH Aachen University, has created an online platform –Texspace, a digital tool for innovation scouting in field of technical textile technology. Together with its partner Innoloft GmbH and all players from industry, science and start-up scene, Texspace looks forward to producing textile innovations for a better world.

The textile industry is full of innovative ideas. Textile materials, invisble to most end users, play an important role in the functionality of technologies and products in a number of industries. Textile tecnologies are the enabler for the modern world. TexSpace wants to support this: To bring textile innovations to the market faster in order to increase the speed at which innovations can be realised.

TexSpace supports companies with finding customers for their innovative product or partner for their next innovation or research project.

The ITA Group is an international research and training service provider for fibre-based high-performance materials, textile semi-finished products and their manufacturing processes with 350 employees.
