Jacob Holm, an innovator of spunlace nonwoven fabrics, has announced that board of directors have approved a capability expansion of existing line at the Candler, NC, US facility. This comes in addition to the Project Boost capacity investment which is on track as scheduled, with waves of equipment installations currently progressing as planned at all sites.

This investment to increase spunlace capacity confirms Jacob Holm’s commitment to support the growth of its customers and to continue to play a leading role in the industry. Jacob Holm aims to continue targeting our partners’ needs for growing volumes of sustainable product offerings and co-innovation abilities.

“We so appreciate the hard work of our team members who have been critical in making this happen, as well as local officials in Buncombe County, North Carolina, for their unwavering support of local businesses,” Martin Mikkelsen, CEO at Jacob Holm, said in a press release.
