Loomia gets query from automotive, electronics, PPE firms
The e-textiles industry, which are limited by cost and ability to scale, does not grow in the fashion field but in personal protective equipment (PPE), consumer products and functional wear, according to Madison Maxey, founder of San Francisco-based Loomia, which designs and manufactures soft circuit systems that can be produced at scale.
The company is also receiving a lot of inquiries from the automotive and consumer electronics sector, she told Fibre2Fashion in an interview. (DS)
