The Textile and Apparel Branch of the Home Economics Department, Faculty of Specific Education, Kafrelsheikh University and North Carolina State University College of Textiles, has organized the 3rd World Textiles Conference “Smartex-2013,” to be held on May14-16, 2013, in Sharm Elsheakh, Egypt.

The event will be under auspices of Prof. Dr. The Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. President of Kafrelsheikh University, Prof. Dr.Grigory I.Chistoborodov Rector of ISTA, Russia.

Smartex-2013 will have participants from multidisciplinary backgrounds that will provide an excellent opportunity to merge International Scientists from Textile Teaching, Research and Development Institutions, and Industry to present and discuss the latest development in the general field of textile materials, technologies, fashion and marketing.

This event will focus on discussions of the latest innovative trends and technological advancements in textile processing and structure, along with their impacts on textile products obtained there from within the economy and environmental dimensions.
