Composites Europe 2014 to take place from Oct 7

July 29, 2014 - Germany

Composite materials are a key technology in lightweight construction. The growing market for lightweight materials reflects the COMPOSITES EUROPE resist. From 7th to 9th October, the exhibition shows in Dusseldorf the full range of fiber-reinforced plastics. In forums and on special areas such as the new "Bio-based Pavilion" and "Industry meets Science", Messe also in the composites future.

More than 400 exhibitors from 25 countries - including many international key players - will be the ninth edition of the COMPOSITES EUROPE expected to present new lightweight designs, materials and the most advanced production and automation solutions. A total of 10,000 lightweight experts from the automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering, marine, wind energy and the construction sector at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre will be expected every third of them from abroad.

Not without reason: the COMPOSITES EUROPE is the international industry the most important event in the German market - the largest composites market in Europe. How important is the fair has become the international composite industry, also show good booked country pavilions from Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, China and Hungary.

Mass-grade manufacturing processes in focus of fair and forums
Photo 2The biggest challenge for the industry is the development and optimization for series-compatible manufacturing processes of composite components. At COMPOSITES EUROPE industry shows the appropriate production and processing processes, material innovations and current lightweight projects. New ideas presented in the exhibition also COMPOSITES Forum, on their special areas such as the Product Demonstration Area, the new "Industry meets Science" or the "Bio-based Pavilion".

COMPOSITES Forum: Innovations in practice
With the international COMPOSITES Forum, the exhibition offers an exciting lecture program that is designed by the VDMA Composite Technology Forum and its member companies, the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV) and other exhibitors. One focus will be the production technology in composite manufacturing. The VDMA member companies speak among other things, the automation of logistics operations, the preform production, economic production of thermoplastic structural components and connection techniques for mass production. The visit of the Forum is free for visitors.
