Trelleborg names Charlotta Grähs as General Counsel

Sweden-based Trelleborg, a leader in engineered polymer solutions said it has appointed Charlotta Grähs as General Counsel for the Trelleborg Group from October 1, 2014.

Charlotta succeeds Ulf Gradén who is retiring and has worked as General Counsel since 2001. Like Ulf Graden, Charlotta Grähs too will be a member of the Group Management and Secretary to Trelleborg’s Board of Directors.

Charlotta Grähs joins Trelleborg from Dometic Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of leisure products for the caravan, motor home, automotive, truck and marine markets, where too she worked as Group General Counsel.

Charlotta has previously worked in a number of other roles, including as a Senior Corporate Counsel for Husqvarna Group, an Associate at Mannheimer Swartling Advokatbyrå and as an Associate at Hengeler Mueller Rechtsanwälte.

Recently in August, Trelleborg said that through its business division - Trelleborg Coated Systems, it acquired the assets and businesses of US based privately owned Uretek Archer LLC Group.

Net sales for the second quarter of 2014 at Trelleborg rose 2 percent year-on-year and totalled SEK 5,725 million, while organic sales declined by 1 percent.
