EDANA launches Asia Pacific nonwovens product award

September 25, 2014 - United Kingdom

EDANA has launched a new award for the nonwovens industry, specifically aimed at the Asia Pacific region.

Companies can nominate either a nonwoven product or a product containing nonwoven elements or a service for personal care and hygiene, which has been developed, designed, manufactured and/or is on sale in Asia Pacific.

EDANA said Asia Pacific includes Australia, New Zealand and the Indian subcontinent and that nominations can be from any point along the supply chain.

EDANA added that all submissions should be entered into the electronic web form by the close of UK business hours on November 7.

Short-listed finalists will then be given the opportunity to present their product or service at the conference, and delegates will be asked to vote for their preferred company. The winner will be announced at a ceremony of the Outlook Asia conference.

“EDANA is keen to provide companies located in, or manufacturing products for the Asia Pacific markets, giving those leading companies a platform to showcase their innovative products or services.” said Abby Bailey from EDANA.

She added, “Outlook Asia has already been established as a must-attend event for innovative companies based or with an interest in Asia Pacific, and is recognised as connecting the fast-growing nonwovens industries across the continent.”

In its second edition, Outlook Asia is part of the EDANA global outreach programme to extend the reach of its established events to new markets, and offers a unique conference and networking event for the nonwovens personal care products industry, with a two-day event in Singapore.

“Outlook Asia offers the nonwovens personal care products supply chain, access to and support in this leading region and offers delegates networking opportunities with participants from across the global personal care products supply chain”, EDANA said.
