Toray to exhibit at PLASTINDIA 2015 in Gandhinagar

Toray Industries said it will participate in PLASTINDIA 2015 - the 9th International Plastics Exhibition & Conference to be held from February 5-10, 2015 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India at Hall 11 B14/C13.

Held once in three years, it is India’s largest trade show and it is the second time that Toray is participating since the previous edition in 2012.

At the exhibition this year, Toray will display high heat and chemical resistant polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin used in turbo-related parts and cooling module parts for environmentally friendly automobiles.

It will also show high-performance acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resins, boasting superior coating, antistatic, chemical resistant and original metallic colour used in a wide-range of applications.

Also on show will be environmentally friendly high barrier film; high-performance release film and carbon fibre composite materials.

Among the target countries, India is positioned as an important market where substantial growth is anticipated. In 2011, the Group established Toray International India Pvt. Ltd as a trading subsidiary.

Parent Toray in the same year also opened a representative office, which became a local subsidiary Toray Industries (India) Pvt. Ltd. in 2014.

Furthermore, it established an airbag fabric manufacturing and distribution company in Mumbai in September 2014, as part of active moves seeking marketing and business expansion in the country.

With “Innovation by Chemistry” as its corporate slogan, Toray will continue to actively pursue global expansion of the advanced material business that commands the power of chemistry.
