International conference held on automation in industries

Om engineering college, Junagadh (OEC), space society of mechanical engineers (SSME), institutions of engineers India (IEI) and world federation of engineering organizations (WFEO) has recently organised a two day international conference on ‘automation in industries’ at Junagadh, India, according to media reports.

The conference deliberated on the latest research and innovative technologies, tool employed by researchers and technical expert from academics and industries of world. Industries are shifting their sight to use more automation due to emerging need for productivity with consistent quality and timely delivery of product. The manufacturing machinery already installed in industries are designed to execute specific functions. The inflexibility and high cost of these machines have paved way for the use of robotic machines, capable to perform wide range of manufacturing process with low cost and flexible environment.

The conference was aimed to gather the academician, researcher's, scientists and industrial personal from the field of industrial automation community and to create a tactic towards new scientific innovations, global exchange of information on technological advances and the effectiveness of various regulatory programs towards industrial automation.
