Twelve companies to get Innovation award at JEC Asia

Twelve companies from eight different countries will receive the JEC Innovation award in categories: aerospace, automotive, commercial vehicles, e-mobility, marine, railway, sports & leisure, infrastructure & civil engineering, industrial equipment, sustainability and additive manufacturing. The awards will be given away during JEC Asia 2018.
 
The awards will highlight how composites bring solutions considering the new challenges in terms of efficiency, sustainability and life-cycle analysis.
 
The ceremony will take place on the international composites event, JEC Asia, to be held between November14-16, 2018.
 
CSIR National Aerospace Laboratories (India) will receive the award in the Aerospace (Structural) category for its innovative skin-ribs cocured engine bay door. In the Aerospace (Tooling) category, Coast Composites, an Ascent Aerospace Company from the US will receive the award for HyVarC Hybrid Invar / Composite Layup Molds.
 
Action Composites (China) has been selected for Automotive category, while Kolon Industries (South Korea) for Commercial Vehicles, Daimler AG (Germany) for E-mobility, and Loiretech (France) for Marine, the organisers have announced.
 
Saertex GmbH & Co, Germany (Railways category); DYETEC Institute, South Korea (Sports & Leisure); Centre for Future Materials, Australia (Infrastructure & Civil Engineering); Composite Technology Center Stade, Germany (Industrial Equipment); Premium Aerotec GmbH, Germany (Sustainability); and E-Xstream Engineering, Luxembourg (Additive Manufacturing) have also been selected for the award.
