August 08, 2019 - United States Of America

The global spunbond nonwovens market is projected to grow by $7.4 billion, guided by a compounded growth of 7.5 per cent, according to a report, which said the disposable segment has the potential to grow at over 7.7 per cent. Poised to reach over $12.7 billion by 2025, disposable will bring in healthy gains adding significant momentum to global growth.

The report, titled ‘Spunbond Nonwoven—Market Analysis, Trends, and Forecasts’, is published by US-based Global Industry Analysts, Inc, a publisher of off-the-shelf market research.

While global megatrends sweeping through the market influence the primary direction of growth, regional markets are swayed by more granular locally unique business drivers, it said.

Representing the developed world, the United States will maintain a 6.4 per cent growth momentum in the sector. Within Europe, which continues to remain an important element in the world economy, Germany will add over $292 million to the region's size and clout in the next five to six years, according to a press release from the publisher.

Over $639.9 million worth of projected demand in the region will come from other emerging Eastern European markets. In Japan, disposable will reach a market size of $734.6 million by the close of the analysis period.

As the world's second largest economy and the new game changer in global markets, China exhibits the potential to grow at 10.8 per cent over the next couple of years and add approximately $2 billion in terms of addressable opportunity for the picking by aspiring businesses and their astute leaders, the report added.
