Trade of Tarpaulins, Awnings and Sunblinds rises

In recent years, the global trade of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds has been moving up with high growth rate. The total trade increased by 22.11 per cent from 2016 to 2018, according to the data from TexPro. The global trade of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds was $3,249.69 million in 2016, which increased to $3,968.12 million in 2018.
 
The total trade of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds has risen by 14.76 per cent in 2018 over the previous year and is anticipated to reach $5,354.26 million in 2021 with a CAGR of 10.50 per cent from 2018, according to Fibre2Fashion's market analysis tool TexPro.
 
The global export of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds was $2,324.21 million in 2016, which increased by 22.02 per cent to $2,836.05 million in 2018. Total exports moved up by 13.66 per cent in 2018 over the previous year and is expected to reach $3,822.71 million in 2021 with a CAGR of 10.46 per cent from 2018.
 
The global import value of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds was $925.47 million in 2016, which increased by 22.32 per cent to $1,132.06 million in 2018. Total imports surged by 17.60 per cent in 2018 over the previous year and is expected to reach $1,531.55 million in 2021 with a CAGR of 10.60 per cent from 2018.
 
China ($1,952.73 million), Poland ($182.25 million) and Germany ($173.59 million) were the key exporters of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds across the globe in 2018, together comprising 81.40 per cent of total export. These were followed by Italy ($62.65 million), France ($47.28 million) and Netherlands ($41.24 million).
 
From 2013 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export value, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Poland (206.93 per cent) and China (149.67 per cent).
 
Germany ($159.47 million), the US ($92.75 million), Switzerland ($87.40 million) and France ($71.55 million) were the key importers of tarpaulins, awnings and sunblinds across the globe in 2018, together comprising 36.32 per cent of total import. These were followed by Austria ($58.36 million), Spain ($54.35 million), UK ($54.20 million) and Japan ($48.90 million).
 
From 2013 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export volume, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by US (124.88 per cent) and Germany (83.74 per cent).
