TenCate hires John Urias as advisory board member

TenCate Advanced Armor (TCAA), a leading global supplier of a wide range of armor composite materials for ballistic protection, has appointed former Oshkosh defence president, John Urias, as member of the advisory board.

Prior to this appointment, he led Oshkosh Corporation's global defence segment, including all tactical wheeled vehicle programs, product development, and vehicle life-cycle sustainment services.

John Urias is a former army major general. In addition, he served as the program executive officer of air, space, and missile defence, the deputy for systems acquisition at the Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM), and is responsible for establishing the US Army's Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (WIN-T).

John Urias earned a master's degree in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Davis.
