Manufacturer of geosynthetics including geocomposites, geotextiles and geocells for the construction industry, Terram has attained the prestigious NorGeoSpec certification for its two new products for a range of ground separation solutions.

Terram NGS2 and Terram NGS3 geotextiles for separation and filtration were granted approval following an intensive development and testing period. NorGeoSpec certification is well-known in the geosynthetics industry as one of the most demanding and exacting accreditations in the world.

The accreditation was achieved after the materials were subject to strict testing at a SINTEF approved facility. Both products also hold the standard CE marking, which is a hallmark of all Terram materials.

“We are delighted to receive our certification and to have now despatched out first orders to the Nordic region. We look forward to serving this area with our unique and highly-specified products,” said Stephen Hancock, EMEA sales for Terram.

Finland, Sweden, Norway and Estonia will benefit from Terram specialist solutions after gaining NorGeoSpec accreditation for two new products.

“This certification is testament to the Terram development ethic and to the quality of the materials we produce here,” said Paul Wormald, director, research and development, Terram. (NA)
