Turkish textile company Ebruzen Textile will set up a firm in the United States to market its anti-viral fabrics and masks produced using those. The fabric and the masks were analysed at the centres authorised by the Turkish health ministry for virus analysis and were granted the global EN18184 certificate of anti-viral effectiveness. These have been sold in the domestic market as well as exported.

The company has been working on technical textiles in an organised industrial zone (OIZ) in the northwestern province of Bursa.

Mass production for the mask has already started, a Turkish news agency reported.

The company said the fabric is being used for aprons used by doctors and hospital sheets, stressing that there were many investors interested in the product and that negotiations were are under way.
