India's ministry of commerce and industry has initiated a sunset review of anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of nylon tyre cord fabric from China. The Association of Synthetic Fibre Industry, on behalf of SRF Ltd and Century Enka Ltd, had filed a review petition for continued imposition of the duty on imports of nylon tyre cord fabric from China.

Asahi Kasei Advance Corp has established Asahi Kasei Advance Vietnam Corp in Hung Yen province near Hanoi, Vietnam. Gurit Holding AG will close its automotive production site in Hungary in second half of 2020. The Switzerland-based company said it is in contact with the customers to re-assign the residual production orders to other suppliers.
