Italy’s Angelini acquires P&G’s remaining 50% stake in Fameccanica

Angelini Industries, an Italian industrial firm, has signed an agreement with P&G to buy the latter's stake in Fameccanica, which until now was a 50/50 joint venture between the two companies. Angelini Industries will thus go on to own 100 per cent of the international company which specialises in automation and robotics for the consumer goods industry.

US’ Elsner launches ERS-180 Canister Stuffer for wipes

US’ Elsner has launched the Elsner Model ERS-180 “One-Eighty” Canister Stuffer to their wipes production converting machinery line-up. Elsner makes world-class fully automatic perforator rewinders for wipes production for decades. Elsner has been part of driving the evolution of the wipes industry since they produced their first perforator in the 1970s.

Austria's Andritz posts record order intake of €7,879.7 mn in FY21

The order intake at Andritz, an Austria-based international technology group, has reached a record level of €7,879.7 million in fiscal 2021 (FY21), an increase of 29 per cent from €6,108.0 million in fiscal 2020. All the four business areas of the company were able to increase their order intake significantly in 2021 as compared to the previous year.

Groz-Beckert to show latest solutions for nonwovens at IDEA in Miami

Austria’s Andritz to supply new batt forming line to Romatex

Austrian technology group Andritz will supply a new batt forming line for stitchbonding to Romatex, a company that specialises in Maliwatt stitchbonding in Africa. The line will be dedicated to the production of Maliwatt products used in a wide range of applications, including home textiles. This will be the third line supplied by Andritz to Romatex.
