Ice hockey is widely known as one of the world's fastest and most dangerous sports. In the past two NHL seasons, star players Andrei Markov, Cam Ward, Kevin Bieksa, Teemu Salanne, Robert Lang and Joe Corvo all sustained serious cuts from skate blades. Fortified Fabric: Dupont Kevlar, COOLMAX Xtralife, and Solefresh yarn infused with Alphasan.

Solefresh yarn infused with Alphasan inhibits odour and bacterial growth. These products combine to create a Silver (Ag) based antimicrobial agent effective against odour, discoloration and biofouling.

By knitting a Kevlar lining inside a sport-mesh polyester outer shell, Intelligent Apparel has created a cut-resistant hockey sock - the first of its kind. Vertical stretch and lateral compression characteristics combine to offer uninhibited mobility and a snug equipment fit. A polyester outer layer is sublimation ready for limitless graphic creativity. Kevlar fabric provides 360° cut protection throughout the entire sock.
