France’s JEC group and Composites Expert have signed an agreement to promote E-learning Composites Academy, the first 4.0 training platform dedicated to manufacturing processes of composite materials. Composites Expert is a start-up created by Jean-Pierre Cauchois. It’s mission is to provide innovative and cognitive training in the composites industry.

Sweden’s Diab reduces carbon footprint by 46%

Sweden’s Diab reduces carbon footprint by 46 per cent between 2016-2021. In 2016, Diab started to reduce its carbon footprint as part of its commitment to meeting the global reduction goals. Diab’s targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), making it the first company for high-tech sandwich composite solutions to do so.

John A Hopkins to step down as US’ IACMI CEO

The Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI) has announced that John A Hopkins will step down from his role as its chief executive officer (CEO), effective March 31, 2022.
