VDMA, the Mechanical Engineering Industry Association from Germany, has announced that the association will give away awards to five students from the Walter Reiners- Stiftung (Foundation) at the Techtextil 2017 expo, an international exhibition for technical textiles and nonwovens, to be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from May 9 to 12, 2017.
The award ceremony of the Walter Reiners-Stiftung (Foundation) will take place on 11 May, 2017, at the VDMA booth (3.0/D25). The VDMA uses the trade fair for technical textiles once again as an opportunity to honour successful young engineers. At the trade fair, the five students will be awarded prizes in the categories dissertation, master, and seminar paper for their outstanding and creative achievements.
With their works, which deal with lightweight construction applications among other things, the young ladies and gentlemen will demonstrate that textile machinery is a real high-tech industry with a future at the expo.
The VDMA booth will also be the first contact point for visitors who would like to get an overview of the exhibiting VDMA member companies. (GK)
