Belgium’s Ontex finalises divestiture of Algerian business to Hygianis

Belgium-based company Ontex has completed the divestiture of its Algerian operation to Hygianis, concluding a partnership lasting more than two decades. The deal, worth approximately €25 million before taxes and related costs, encompasses Ontex's manufacturing facility in Algeria, its business within the country, and certain export operations.

Drylock Technologies invests in first baby care production site in US

Belgian firm Ontex’s like-for-like revenue soars 10% in FY23

Ontex reported a 10 per cent YoY like-for-like revenue increase to €1,795 million in FY23, driven by a 9 per cent price rise. Adjusted EBITDA surged 67 per cent to €174 million. Total revenue reached €2,342 million, including €547 million from discontinued operations. Q4 revenue was stable at €446 million, with adjusted EBITDA up 16 per cent YoY.
