Andritz converting line for baby diapers begins operation in France

Andritz has accomplished the delivery, installation, and commissioning of a converting line for the production of baby diapers at Naturopera's new facility in Bully Les Mines, France. The converting line, called eXcelle, is provided by Andritz Diatec and incorporates advanced technology to manufacture both conventional and bio-based baby diapers.

Austria’s Andritz successfully starts up new needleloom at Foss Floors

Andritz, an international technology group, has announced the successful start-up of a new velour loom at Foss Floors in Rome, United States (GA). The loom is designed to produce high-quality flooring made from recycled plastic, and the start-up occurred in early 2023. The 5.3 m loom, which is of type SDV, was delivered by Andritz to Foss Floors.

Andritz to exhibit nonwoven & recycling tech at ITMA 2023 in Milan

Andritz will be showcasing its nonwovens production and textile-recycling solutions at ITMA from June 8-14, 2023. The company offers products and services in the industrial digitalisation sector under the brand name Metris. Andritz's chemical/circular textile recycling technologies, fibre preparation, and ADuro F fine grinder will also be showcased.

Austrian firm Andritz’s revenue soars 28.5% in Q1 FY23

Austrian technology group Andritz has reported a 28.5 per cent increase in revenue to €1,962.6 million for Q1 FY23 compared to Q1 FY22. The company's order intake fell 6.5 per cent YoY to €2,420.2 million, with the exception of its metals business area, which saw growth. Despite the decline in orders, Andritz's order backlog rose to €10,407.8 million.

Andritz gets order for 2 hygiene converting lines from Turkiye’s Predo

Andritz has received an order from Predo Health Products to deliver two high-speed hygiene converting lines for producing adult open diapers and feminine sanitary napkins. The lines will be installed in Predo's factory in Gaziantep and start-up is scheduled for the first half of 2024. Predo already operates four baby diaper lines from Andritz.

Austria’s Andritz to supply spunlace line to wipes producer Quimicolor

Austria-based Andritz has been contracted by Columbian wipes producer Quimicolor to provide a complete neXline spunlace line for nonwovens production at its Medellin plant. This will be the first spunlace line in South America outside Brazil and will process viscose and polyester fibres to produce more than 10,000 tons of nonwoven roll-goods annually.

Romania’s MG TEC starts 2nd Andritz tissue line for production

Andritz has completed the delivery of a second tissue production line to MG TEC Industry at its Romanian mill, featuring a PrimeLineCompact tissue machine, stock preparation system, pumps, automation, and ventilation. The installation enables MG TEC to produce high-quality tissue products with low energy consumption and reduced environmental impact.

Turkiye’s Lotus Teknik Tekstil starts up Andritz line for wet wipes

Turkiye’s Lotus Teknik Tekstil A.S. has installed a state-of-the-art neXline wetlace CP line from tech group Andritz to produce biodegradable, plastic-free wet wipes. The new line combines wetlaid and spunlace technologies. The sustainable wipe, which is called Newipe, has high strength, softness, low lint rate, and a lower carbon footprint.
