Lotus Teknik, Turkey, a leading nonwoven roll good producer, is buying a neXline wetlace CP (carded pulp) line for producing biodegradable, plastic-free wet wipes, from the international technology Group Andritz. The line is scheduled for start-up by the end of 2021. Andritz developed the neXline wetlace CP line in view of demand for sustainable wipes.

International technology Group Andritz will supply a neXline spunlace eXcelle line to Minet, a nonwovens-producing company based in Ramnicu Valcéa, Romania. The line will be used to process a variety of fibres from 25 to 70 gsm to produce a wide range of hygiene products. The line is expected to start functioning during the second quarter of 2022.

Dieffenbacher has installed a new Fibreforge tape laying system at the South Korea Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). The system, in use since mid-October, is helping UNIST advance its research for companies in the automotive and aerospace industries. It is the first Firbreforge order for Dieffenbacher in South Korea.
