Composites UK to return with live events from September

Composites UK is set to a return with live events from September. During the pandemic, the association moved its events online, successfully delivering a mix of presentations and online networking that was as close to meeting with others as possible through virtual channels. It will continue to host webinars and face-to-face events in the coming months.

UK’s NCC to focus on using hydrogen as zero emission fuel

National Composites Centre has unveiled its new Core Research Programme 2021/22, which has been designed to solve industry's biggest challenges in the use of advanced materials, with particular focus on sustainability and the hydrogen economy. More than half of the projects this year relate to enabling the use of hydrogen as a zero emissions fuel.

UK’s Gravitilab & NCC to make composite structures for launch vehicles

Thailand’s Cobra expands partnership with UAV producer HG Robotics

Cobra International has expanded its development and manufacturing partnership with Thai UAV producer HG Robotics. Cobra is supporting HG Robotics with a new production concept for "Vetal" tail sitter VTOL drone. Vetal is a twin rotor, tail sitting, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone, launched for agricultural surveys and general surveillance.

EFSC establishing advanced composites learning centre

A new advanced composites learning centre is being established at Eastern Florida State College (EFSC). The centre has been designed to educate and train composites technicians to support Florida's Space Coast manufacturing region.
