AEROLIA and SOGERMA merge as STELIA aerospace

AEROLIA, French aerostructures leader and major worldwide player for design and production of equipped fuselages, has merged with SOGERMA, a major aerospace supplier and Tier 1 partner for the largest aeronautical manufacturers and most prestigious airlines around the world, to officially form the group ‘STELIA aerospace’.

Recognized through its complementary businesses and bearing this development ambition common to both major aeronautical companies, the merger of AEROLIA and SOGERMA will give rise, on 1st January, 2015, to the world’s third leading companies in aerostructures, seats, and, aeronautical equipments.

STELIA aerospace, as a major multi-specialist player, will be one of the leading European companies in the aerostructures market, the first & business class seats market, and joint world leader in the pilot seats market.
