Airborne to supply components for Dassault SMS empennage

Airborne Aerospace signed a contract with Fokker Aerostructures for the delivery of several packages for the Dassault SMS empennage.

In total the contract exist of 4 product types in the Super Mid Size business jet: the Spring Loaded fairing, Fin Trailing Edge fairings, Tip Fairings and Leading Edges of the rudder and elevator.

Airborne is proud to continue the intensive collaboration with Fokker that started in 1998 with the development and delivery of the Standard Missile prototype canisters, followed by engineering support in the F-35 program in 2003 and the design & built contract of the Gulfstream G650 overhang panels in 2007. 

Airborne participates in the project with engineers and production workers from the facilities in Ypenburg, The Netherlands and Girona, Spain.
