Autoneum announces leadership changes to executive board

Autoneum, the global market and technology leader in acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles, has announced leadership changes to its executive board of directors.

Andreas Kolf is to become the new head of business group Asia and a member of the group executive board of Autoneum Holding Ltd on March 1, 2016. A German citizen, he has many years of experience as a managing director of international automotive suppliers in Asia. Dr. Uwe Trautmann, head of business group Asia since 2007, is resigning from the group executive board on february 29, 2016 and will return to Europe. Volker Eimertenbrink, head of business group SAMEA (South America, Middle East, and Africa), is leaving Autoneum to take on new professional challenges, according to a press release.

Until the appointment of his successor, Dr.Martin Zwyssig, CFO of Autoneum, will assume responsibility as interim head of business group SAMEA from January 1, 2016.

In the subsequent transition period, Andreas Kolf will have support from his predecessor in the continuation of business activities. Andreas Kolf has many years of experience in the international automotive supply industry. Following a managerial position at a light alloy wheel manufacturer in Poland, with a short break Kolf has held various management positions at US automotive supplier Federal-Mogul since 2002. After appointments as global sales director and operations director for the Asia-Pacific region, since 2013 Kolf has been managing director of Federal-Mogul in India. In his capacity as operations director for the Asia-Pacific region, based in Shanghai, he acquired a profound knowledge of the Asian automotive market.

Andreas Kolf graduated in jurisprudence with the second law exam of the regional judicial examination office in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. (GK)
