Avgol India to set up nonwovens facility in MP

Avgol India, a subsidiary of Israel based Avgol Nonwovens, is setting up a nonwoven fabric production facility in Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh at a capital investment of Rs 223 crore. In a cabinet committee meeting, the Madhya Pradesh government discussed the proposal and will offer rebates to Avgol India as per the industrial policy of the state.

“Among other investments, the cabinet committee also decided to offer 22.778 hectares of land in Budhni to Trident Ltd, for setting up a composites textile project,” a news agency reported. (AR)
