Biaxplen to show latest BOPP film samples at Italy's expo

Biaxplen, a subsidiary company of SIBUR, and a leading biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film producer in Russia, is set to exhibit its latest BOPP film samples at Ipack-Ima 2015, a global exhibition to be held at Fiera Milano exhibition center in Milan, Italy.

The company’s stand will showcase its latest BOPP film samples, featuring products such as opaque, label, metallised, antifog, and tobacco product films.

Biaxplen team would also be available advice the attendees on all aspects of its cooperation with European clients, including the pricing policy, feedstock quality, logistics optimisation and other matters, the company said in a statement.

Ilya Papusha, Biaxplen marketing director, said, “In 2014, EU accounted for 15 per cent of Biaxplen supplies, but the Company plans to ramp up significantly its EU exports in the near future. The strongest increase is expected to be driven by larger supplies to Biaxplen's traditional markets such as Italy, Poland, Turkey, and Greece and the expansion into new markets including Germany, France, and other countries. In the European market, which is largely a mature one, we are ready to offer an alternative to European suppliers of standard films by making the best value proposition.”

Biaxplen will showcase its products in Exhibition Hall 10, Lane C at the Italian expo.(GK)
