Composites UK, the trade body for UK composites industry, has teamed up with Easyfairs, organisers of the Composites Engineering Show, the UK’s largest annual gathering of advanced engineering professionals and part of the Advanced Engineering show, to be held on November 1 and 2, 2017, at Birmingham NEC, to become the headline industry partner this year.

Claire Whysall, communications manager at Composites UK said; “It is important to us as the trade association for the UK composites industry that we align with this show, not only to support our members, but also to promote the UK industry as a whole. Over a third of our members’ exhibit here and as the event has an international audience UK companies can have a wide reach without being too far from their base.”

Composites UK members receive a 15 per cent discount on stand and shell scheme space at the show, which is new for 2017.

Claire added, “The 15 per cent discount has been very well received by our members and has even encouraged other companies to join us. The discount joins a portfolio of services we offer in relation to the show including best rates on the design and build of stands from Driscoll Brothers and reduced advertising rates in the Composites UK members’ directory, printed and distributed by Composites in Manufacturing Magazine.”

Jeremy Whittingham, ‎head of marketing at show organisers, Easyfairs said; “As organisers of Advanced Engineering and the Composites Engineering Show, we are delighted to continue the show’s relationship with Composites UK. Composites UK have been a key supporter of the Composites Engineering show since its launch in 2010, consistently providing valuable presentation content and industry engagement. This partnership has in turn given back to the industry a major networking, educational, and business development forum for the UK composite industry. We look forward to continuing our work to help grow the UK composites industry even further into a leading global player.” (GK)
