Composites UK will host a Marketing and PR Course for the composites industry. The Trade Association will be teaming up once more with experts from Aro Consulting and Outsourcing B2B Marketing to host the one-day course on 19th June in Birmingham, UK.

This will mark the third time the Association has held this popular event, which aims to assist companies in the composites industry with enhancing their business and products through marketing techniques.

The course would be of particular use to those whose role includes, but is not specifically dedicated to marketing and communications such as the Managing Director of an SME. It would also be of benefit to junior members of marketing teams just starting out in larger companies.

Claire Whysall, Communications Manager at Composites UK said, “We’re all exposed to some form of marketing each day as it’s the main tool a company uses to show potential and current customers its products and services as well as communicating the company’s personality and values. Getting this pitched at the right level can mean the difference between attracting a client, and missing out on one.

“This course will teach anyone who is involved with their company’s marketing the essential communication techniques needed to put an effective marketing process in place.”

The course will be split into two parts. The first part will provide a foundation and broad understanding of marketing principals and planning techniques, as well as approaches to engaging with market sectors and customers.

The second part of the day will look at communications and public relation techniques, giving the delegate an overview of the key tools and methods including successful media coverage through the use of press releases, advertising and social media.
