Italy based Cormatex which ventured in to producing nonwoven production lines in the early 60’s will be showcasing its innovations at stall no. 4255 at one of the biggest global nonwoven industry show – INDEX 14 in Switzerland.

Thanks to achieving a highly flexible productive system and use of advanced technologies for machinery designing and manufacturing, Cormatex has improved and expanded its production range, by guaranteeing at the same time, the maximum quality level, production versatility and machinery reliability.

Among complete nonwoven production lines, it manufactures - Needle punching lines, Thermobonding lines and Airlaying lines.

New Airlaying Technology: Lap Formair
Lap Formair is an innovative Airlay system developed by Cormatex to make nonwoven products by recycling various industrial waste materials. It is a new technology that combines high ecological value with huge economical advantages:
- manufacturing of green products from waste materials ready to replace products made of virgin fibres
- reduction of waste materials to be disposed of in landfills
- environmental friendly production (thanks to low energy consumption and no pollutant involved in the process)
- huge reduction of production costs (thanks to the possibility of recycling waste materials, high productivity, low investment and maintenance costs)
- extreme production versatility

The airlaid nonwoven products achieved with Lap Formair technology can be used in many different applications thanks to the variety of raw materials that can be processed and combined together. They assure extremely good insulating performance, both for acoustic and thermal insulation as well as a very high resiliency and can be used in building construction, automotive industry, furniture, mattress production and so on.

Cormatex technologies find applications in various sectors like aerospace, agriculture, automotive, building , civil engineering, clothing, filtration, home furnishing, hygiene and bodycare, medical, packaging, paper, protective clothing, sound proofing, thermal insulation and wipes.

Apart from selling in Italy, Cormatex production lines have been exported across the globe to countries like France, Spain, Portugal, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, China, Mongolia, Taiwan, Korea, Brazil, Argentina, Romania, Bulgaria, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Turkey, Russia, Hungary and Egypt.
