Erhardt+Leimer to present ELFEED KRS60 at ITM Istanbul

Based on market experience, the web guiding specialists modified the ELCUT system slightly to achieve an even better handling, accuracy and efficiency. Besides ELFEED and ELCUT Erhardt+Leimer will also present the proven ELMAT product line for temperature and moisture measurement and the ELCOUNT pick density measuring system.

Since 2011, 50 pilot installations have been fitted with ELFEED KRS60 tenter infeed systems. Equipped with an all-in-one AC/EC actuator and the new high performance infrared sensor FR 5503, the KRS60 allows safe and most accurate pinning at high production speeds. This leads to a substantial reduction of waste and reduces costs significantly. The new generation will make commissioning easier and will reduce maintenance requirements.

The introduction of the ELCUT BTA80 in 2011 set new standards for edge trimming. Long-life blades that can be used on both sides, an actuator allowing exact positioning of the system via two push buttons or automatic follow-up control of the cutting devices by web edge via sensors guarantee top performance at minimum effort.

In only two years 270 systems were sold, proving that the ELCUT BTA80 perfectly meets the requirements of textile manufacturers. Now Erhardt+Leimer present the second-generation BTA80. Based on customer feedback the system has been slightly modified and improved. The result is an even better quality of the initial cutting and a longer blade service life.

As Klaus Baumann, head of the textiles sales division at E+L, points out “the modifications are a result of our continuous concentration on customer demands”.
