Fabric firm Saertex partakes in China Composites Expo

German-based manufacturers of stitch-bonded noncrimp fabrics (NCFs) made of glass, carbon and aramid fibres, Saertex have successfully participated in the will China Composites Expo, which was held in Shanghai from the September 2 to 4, 2015, at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC) at stand number A 1816.

They were supported by international Saertex specialists Marc Schrief and Dr. Helge Haberkern.

Saertex develops and produces multi-axial fabrics made of glass, carbon, aramid, and other fibres to meet the most demanding technical requirements. Wherever load-bearing capacity and lightness are important factors, NCFs are chosen. Saertex products are being used in various fields such as wind energy, aerospace industry, automotive, boat and shipbuilding, railway, building industry, pipe lining, sports, and leisure etc, according to a press release.

The China Composites Expo 2015 was the 21st China international composites industrial technical expo. It is organised by the China Composites Group Corporation (CCGC), which mainly specializes in the manufacture and marketing of composites, glass, glass fibre, ceramics and other non-metal materials.
