Hyun-Dai develops high quality glass & carbon fibre

Hyun-Dai Fiber.Co.Ltd, developers of various glass fabrics with fine yarn, is manufacturing various fibres from superfine glass fibre to carbon fibre, and also producing various cutting edge composite materials through impregnation or coating of appropriate resin, in an attempt to promote the special chemical fibre market in the US.

As the application range of composite materials is recently expanded, the special chemical fibre market like glass fibre and carbon fibre is showing strong growth trend. According to the market research company in Dallas, US, it is expected that the glass fibre and special chemical fibre sector is expected to grow by 6.47 per cent annually from 2015 to 2020. These composite materials save energy and show excellent durability and stability through light weight.

It can be produced as prepreg state by impregnating epoxy resin into carbon fibre textile. It is widely applied to aerospace area since it is significantly lighter than plastic but stronger than steel.
