IMCD to supply Covestro's coatings in France

Covestro, a leading polymer company, has entered into an agreement with IMCD France, for the distribution of coatings and adhesives raw materials in France, expanding the current cooperation beyond the raw materials Covestro offers to the textile industry.

From May 1, 2016, the French company will hold inventory and distribute the materials to the coatings and adhesives industry there. The combination of Covestro's innovation strength, state-of-the-art product quality and services with IMCD's commitment to technically driven sales and customer proximity are a solid foundation for the future partnership and the success of both companies, according to a press release.

Effective April 30, 2016, Covestro will cease its cooperation with the previous sales partner Univar France.

Hans-Joachim Wittig, vice president distribution in Covestro's coatings, adhesives, and specialties business unit said, “We would like to express our appreciation of the longstanding relationship that lasted more than 20 years.” (GK)
