At INDA’s Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference, members will get to hear insights from a prominent economist and also a political correspondent.

The annual meeting to be held from February 23-25, 2015 will feature economist Brian Beaulieu, CEO of ITR Economics, and MSNBC political correspondent Bob Franken, an Emmy-award winning reporter.

Additionally, INDA’s Director of Market Research and Statistics, Brad Kalil, and Director of Government Affairs, Jessica Franken, will lead an interactive symposium on their areas.

The event draws professionals from the entire nonwovens value chain plus offers opportunities to meet and network with other members.

Beaulieu, a renowned speaker and author on the current economic outlook, will discuss his research on business cycle trends and how companies can apply it.

He also is Chief Economist for Vistage International and TEC, global organizations comprised of more than 13,000 CEOs.

Prior to joining ITR and becoming its CEO in 1987, he was an economist for the US Department of Labour, where he worked on the health care component of the Consumer Price Index.

Franken is well positioned to provide insights on this year’s new Congressional make up and an early read on the 2016 Presidential candidates.

He has been reporting history’s turning points for decades, bringing millions of viewers to the front row at the world’s major news events, including wars, politics, legal, and financial stories.

Recently inducted into the Society for Professional Journalists Washington Hall of Fame, he covered combat in both Iraq wars and the White House.

“INDA’s show presents a unique opportunity for INDA members to engage in program content that will spark their imaginations and provide new ideas,” INDA president Dave Rousse said.

He added, “It also is a time to hear about the impactful activities INDA has been involved with as well as participate in the governance of INDA.” (AR)
