PPG announces senior level appointments

PPG Industries, a leading coatings company, has announced several executive appointments effective from March 1, the company said in a media release.

Tim Knavish, currently the vice president, global protective and marine coatings (PMC), will become senior vice president, automotive coatings. Knavish will continue to supervise PPG's Latin America operations and its corporate environment, health and safety (EHS) function.

Jean Marie Greindl, who current is the vice president, automotive coatings, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and president, PPG EMEA, would be promoted to senior vice president, global architectural coatings, and president EMEA. Greindl's responsibilities would include all architectural coatings activities in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions as well as the US and Canada.

Ram Vadlamannati, currently vice president, architectural coatings, EMEA would become senior vice president, protective and marine coatings and corporate development, and would continue to oversee the corporate information technology (IT) function in addition to assuming oversight of PPG's strategic planning and corporate development function.
