Reichhold, one of the world's largest manufacturers of unsaturated polyester resins, has announced price hike of $0.04 per pound for unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins sold in North America.

The selling price increase would be applied to all products sold in the United States and Canada, and would be effective for all orders shipped on or after April 15, 2016.

“Recent increases to the cost of styrene and several other raw materials require us to raise our selling prices. These increased costs are driven by a strong export market for petrochemicals and rising feedstock costs. Reichhold continues to work with its suppliers to minimize cost increases and the impact they have on its customers,” said Dale MacDonald, vice-president commercial North American composites.

Reichhold has manufacturing operations throughout Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. (NA)
