The next Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference (ANEX), which is organized every third year, would be held in China in 2015.

The event would be held in Shanghai, alongside the Shanghai International Nonwovens Conference & Exhibition (SINCE).

The European nonwovens exhibition INDEX is organized every third year by Association of the European Nonwoven Industry (EDANA), the leading association and voice of the nonwovens and related industries in Europe.

Similarly, North American nonwowens show IDEA is organized once in three years by Industrial Nonwovens and Disposables Association in North America (INDA).

The next nonwovens exhibition and conference in North America will be held in Miami, Florida, in 2013, while the next exhibition in Europe will be organized in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2014.

Talking about the recently concluded ANEX 2012, Phil Pitt, Director of Marketing, INDA, said the event presented the entire nonwovens value chain.

Stating Asia as a “major force in the nonwovens industry” that brings great opportunities to the enterprises, he said, they were happy to be a part of it and would continue to support Asia Nonwoven Fabrics Association (ANFA).

Mr. Pitt said they hope to continue their successful trend at the IDEA show in Miami in April, next year.

Discussing ANEX 2012, EDANA General Manager Pierre Wiertz said he was quite impressed by the quality of the exhibition, participating companies and the efforts put in by the organizers.

About Asia, he said the region has great potential and the industry and technologies in the region would keep developing.
