With the acquisition of a 43.85% share in Wolfangel GmbH, Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG expands its presence in the area of composite plants.

Wolfangel, located in Ditzingen, Germany, manufactures machinery for the production of fiber-reinforced components. This includes injection plants (RTM) and dosing units but also individual machine solutions for various application areas.

With sales including a RTM press for ACE, a sandwich press for Elbe-Flugzeugwerke and a SMC press for C.F. Maier, Siempelkamp had a successful market entry into the field of composites. Now the Krefeld machine builder has expanded its competence area and acquired shares in Wolfangel GmbH, founded in 1976.

Wolfangel’s machines and plants are used primarily by glass and carbon fiber processors. With the bundling of innovative technologies regarding fiber composite materials, Wolfangel and Siempelkamp will serve the market for composites in the future.
