Spirit Aeronautics, a growing industry leader offering worldwide aviation services to corporate, military, private, government, and commercial aircraft operators, has used carbon fibre accents and design elements to make a Cessna Citation 650 aircraft interior.

The design and details of the interiors included elements found on much larger aircrafts such as carbon fibre inlays, blackened wood laminates, multi-layer high build gloss coatings, new Corian countertops and multi-layer foam seats with clean minimalist lines and tight stitching.

Deep black wood laminates accented with carbon fibre inlays on the solid surfaces were used for the drink rails, galley, and lavatory. The seats were modernized using high end graphite charcoal grey leather combined with tight stitching and multi-layer hand shaped foam with contoured lumbar for a sleek and simple appearance. The carpet was specifically crafted for this application utilising a two tone block pattern that gives the illusion of warm depth making the walkways appear larger. In addition, the interior was further updated with brushed nickel plating on all the metal surfaces, new LED Lighting and upgrades in the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system, according to a company press release.

Spirit Aeronautics is principally engaged in the refurbishment, design, development, completions, management, engineering, material supply, integration and sustainment of business, VIP, VVIP, military, and government aircraft. (GK)
