SSM to show DURO-TW package winder at Techtextil India

SSM is exhibiting at the upcoming trade show Techtextil India in Mumbai, which runs from September 24-26, 2015 and will showcase its DURO-TW precision package winder.

“The SSM DURO-TW precision winder can be used for all technical yarns up to 50,000 dtex, thereby offering a new level of flexibility and winding quality in one machine,” a SSM press release said.

The assembly winder allows plying of multiple ends or yarns and is independent of them being of the same type or completely different.

“Optional intermingling guarantees loop-free twists as well as optimal unwinding during twisting, while the ability to run closed precision winding enables higher package densities, thereby increasing knot-free length,” it added.

Besides the winder, SSM also offers machines for air texturing, false twist texturing, air covering, draw winding, assembly winding, sewing thread winding, yarn singeing and conventional covering.
